Wrapping Up Spooky Season

Hello everyone! First of all, sorry for the major delay in posting this. Spooky season hit us hard with midterms, projects, and papers. But, that didn't stop us from getting out to the barn and enjoying our Florida fall! It's been a big month for our team members and their ponies, so we've got plenty of updates. We kicked off the month with a new banner from Deco Pony! We are extremely excited to show it off at future shows, and some of our four-legged team members did a fantastic job of modeling it. And, thanks to a FITS sponsorship, we will look even more spiffy with our team breaches and show shirts that were also ordered this month! Speaking of spiffy, our team was looking sharp with some fantastic costumes at Gray Lily Farm's Annual Halloween Horse Show. Taylor showcased her artistic talent with an incredible paint job on Spartan that made their lovely dressage tests mesmerizing to watch. Nicole got to show Super Eddie for the first time, and he handled the crazy costumes like a hero! Ali did a fantastic job jumping good ol' Turk over all the things. Rebecca and Rascal used the force to end the day on their dressage score and come home with a Champion ribbon and a new personal best! Susan and Tigger had their Eventing Team debut and made us all proud of our new members. Sara represented the team in both the in-hand and dressage classes with Annie and Chewy. And I was lucky to show little Roo in eventing for our first time as a pair. All in all, it was a great start to our 2019-2020 show season! And, finally, it wouldn't be spooky season without some fun around the barn. Thanks to Taylor's creativity (again), we had a creepy new friend at the barn. Although some of us were more easily spooked than others (definitely not me...), we all had fun hiding Pennywise in random spots around the barn.

To wrap up, this semester is flying by, and we are so excited for what's to come! We are looking forward to the arrival of our team breaches and shirts and lots more schooling and showing. Us officers have started to plan some holiday fun for the end of the semester - it'll be here before we know it!

Go 'Noles!

P.S. - We will be getting back to more regular blog posts from more of our team members now.
